I had the pleasure of just putting live, the first web site for Clarity Marketing Communications, a marcom company with a clear focus on health care marketing.

Erika Hermanson, friend, former colleague, and PTA partner in crime recently contacted me about developing the first web site for her company. Erika is the best kind of client: writing great copy is one of her many specialties, so that was easy. And she was highly involved in both the ongoing development of the site, as well as the testing. Along with that, she was very responsive and supportive of ideas and approaches. The result: a very nice website, and hopefully, lots of new business for her.

placeitClarity’s website is built using a highly customized implementation of the Avada theme from a company called ThemeFusion. This is a very nice all purpose theme, but did require quite a few CSS tweaks to make it just right. This site includes a significant portfolio page- this is the part of the site we spent the most time on. The Clarity portfolio includes excellent samples of their work in heath care marketing, and for those we have the most detail: photos, audio, and video examples make for some very compelling portfolio pages. The site is responsive, so looks great on all devices- better than the artificially rendered version on the right!

As part of the website development effort, Clarity created a YouTube page, and as part of that, a Google Plus , then a Facebook page, so they are set up nicely to begin the social effort as pertains to SEO.
